Hello my friends and listeners and welcome back to Across the Airwaves! This post is more of an announcement than anything else, but I (Michael J. Petty for those who don’t know, and let’s be honest, you all should know) wanted to let all of you know what is coming down the pipe-line for Woo S! Kim & I here at ATA. First of all, do not worry, Retro Reviews will still continue, but instead of every week, we will only record Retro Reviews once (maybe twice) every month. So now that that’s settled, let the games begin!
Basically, Woo and I are going to be (starting this Fall) hosting ATA’s latest spin-off called: Longbow Hunters: The Arrow Podcast! Longbow Hunters was named after one of the most famous Green Arrow story arcs entitled “Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters” (of which Arrow is loosely based, along with Green Arrow: Year One). The reason Woo and I are covering Arrow is because, to our knowledge, no one else is going to be doing it in a podcast on a weekly basis! So, we took it upon ourselves to create Longbow Hunters! We have hosts, we have a logo, we have a site we can use, so why not? Woo and I will hopefully be able to not just record reviews on each episode of you, but also (possibly) interview some of the cast and crew of Arrow, if they are interested.
And don’t worry guys, Dan and Nico are still going to be covering Arrow on the Across the Airwaves Podcast (along with Supernatural, Doctor Who, Fringe, Castle, and much more) and may even join us on LBH every once in a while, but it’ll mainly just be Woo & I. Dan may cover SPOILERS with me as well, because Woo doesn’t want to be spoiled. So, if you enjoy Woo & I on Retro Reviews, Dan & I on the DC Nation Podcast, Dan & Nico on ATA, and are looking forward to watching Arrow this Fall, then Longbow Hunters is the podcast for you!
