Howdy DC Nationers, it’s Summer and we’re going to use Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice Invasion being on hiatus as an excuse to take it easy because frankly everyone here at ATA has been working really hard. However, that does not mean we are going to stop providing you with podcasts we are just going to be taking a different approach with our episodes as our reviews on the digital issues of Smallville Season 11 will be combined with a series of discussions on DC’s The New 52 Comic Books until our favorite DC Nation Shows return.
Now that you know the lowdown for the next couple weeks. This particular episode is called Podcast of the Owls since we are beginning our New 52 discussions on the Batman related books, particularly their connection to the highly acclaimed Court/Night of the Owls crossover event, which concluded with a reveal that may change the dynamic of the Bat Family forever! On that note, in going along with the laid-back nature of summer, this section is going to be a mostly unedited conversation between Michael and I discussing what we like about the current Batman Comics with a few sound effects for entertainment and chapter markers to help you follow our little chat.
