Across the Airwaves

The night is long. The lines are open. It's past midnight, the studio lights are low, and you're on the air. Across the Airwaves is a narrative sim where you play a late-night paranormal radio host. People call in with the kind of stories they don't usually tell anyone. Some of them are true believers. Some aren't sure what they saw. Some just need somebody to listen.

The Broadcast

Over the course of the show, you'll take calls that cover pretty much the entire back catalog of high strangeness. Cryptids like Mothman, Fresno Nightcrawlers, the Batsquatch. Encounters with demons, gremlins, and things people saw in the dark that never made any sense after. UFO sightings, alien encounters, and whispered accounts of reptilian autopsies that were never supposed to leave locked rooms. You'll also hear about secret programs and buried history. AATIP. MK-Ultra. Project Blue Book. Real-world mysteries like the Dyatlov Pass incident and the Kofu incident, told by callers who swear they were closer to it than the official record lets on.

The Job

Pretty straightforward. Read the calls. Respond. Keep people listening. You can encourage your callers, stay neutral, or push back a little. Every reply shapes how the night goes. Ratings matter because the station has to survive, but the stories always come first. You're just there to give them the space. About the stories.
