Listen, I know how this is going to sound, but I need you to believe me, I need to tell someone who'll actually listen. My name is Zhang, and back in 1994, something happened to me on Phoenix Mountain that changed everything I thought I knew about the universe. I was 26 years old, working as a timber worker at the Hongqi Forest Farm in Wuchang. Life was simple, you know? I had a wife, a young child, we lived in housing the farm provided. Hard work, but honest work. It started at the end of May. I remember it was late in the month because we were talking about it around the camp. Some of the other workers had seen something strange on the southern slope of Phoenix Mountain. They said there was this huge white object up there, shining. From far away, people said it looked like a big greenhouse or something, but up close, nobody knew what to make of it. Some thought maybe it was a weather balloon that came down. My brother-in-law thought the same thing when I told him about it. So on June 7th, I decided to go check it out with Li, my niece's husband. We figured if it was a downed weather balloon or maybe even a helicopter, we could salvage some useful things from it. We took the forest train up with some other villagers who were going to dig wild vegetables. When we got to the mountain, Li and I split off from the group and headed toward the south slope. We told them we were looking for wild vegetables too, but really, we wanted to find that white object.
We climbed up slowly, and at first we didn't see anything. Just trees and rocks, the usual mountain terrain. But as we got closer, maybe about 300 meters away, there it was. This massive white object, shaped like a disc with two semicircular feet angled into the ground at the back. My heart started pounding. This wasn't any weather balloon. balloons looks nothing like that - Flynn' We moved closer, maybe got within 150 meters of it, and that's when things got terrifying. I felt this surge run through my whole body, like electricity coursing through me. It was like we hit some kind of invisible barrier, some force field surrounding the craft. I couldn't move forward. My muscles locked up. Li felt it too, I could see the panic in his eyes. Then this beam of light hit me. Just shot out from the object and struck me right in the forehead. Everything went white, and then black. I collapsed. The next thing I remember is waking up back at the workers' quarters. They told me about 30 men had carried me back down the mountain after I passed out. I was confused, couldn't communicate properly with anyone. My head was spinning. But here's the strangest part. Later that day, when I went to see the doctor, the moment he put his stethoscope on my chest, I felt that electricity again. Surging through me, making my whole body tense up. Anything metal would trigger this reaction. Iron, steel, it didn't matter. I developed this extreme fear of metal objects. This went on for hours after the incident. I'd never experienced anything like it in my life.
A few nights later, something even stranger happened. I was lying in bed next to my wife. Our child was sleeping nearby. It must have been around midnight when I heard this clicking sound outside our house. Then a beam of light came through the wall. Not through a window, through the wall itself. The whole room got brighter and brighter. And then I saw it. This figure, standing in my bedroom. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was shaped like a human but it was enormous, had to be at least three meters tall, maybe ten feet. The thing was covered in this black material, looked almost like rubber wrapped around its body. I couldn't see its nose or mouth, just these eyes. Square-shaped eyes that moved, that looked at me. And the hands, it had six fingers on each hand. Before I could even react, I started floating. I rose up off the bed while my wife and child just kept sleeping like nothing was happening. The being did something to me, I still don't know how to describe it. It felt like an electric shock but also something else, something I'd never felt before. The sensation lasted maybe three or four seconds. I wasn't having sex with this thing for 40 minutes like some of the newspapers said later. That's not what happened. I was being examined. Experimented on. I could feel it collecting something from me. And then, just as suddenly as it appeared, it vanished. Went right back through the wall. I floated back down onto the bed. My wife never woke up. Neither did my child. When I tried to tell people the next day, most thought I was crazy. But I know what I experienced. I know what happened in that room.
